The oldest red grape variety of our region produced the favorite wine of our grandfather,

Albert Denis, founder of the Domaine de la Renaudie. In his honour, we have given his name to this wine made with 100% Côt grapes, using his own tehnique of winemaking, that is, completely natural.

For this 2010 vintage, we have used shorter fermentation periods, which produce a highly-coloured red wine with a multitude of red and black berry aromas. The remarkable tannins within are supple and round. This wine will age for 6-8 years, acquiring aromas of Cherry over time

Domaine Cordaillat

Our Pinot Noir Grapes are grown only on exposed clay-limestone soils and the plots are grassed over for improved nutrient concentration and to create a favourable environment for biological control agents. The fruit is tasted daily and the pips are checked for maturity, ensuring that the harvest takes place under optimal conditions. The wine is matured at a controlled temperature, avoiding over-extraction, resulting in a well-balanced, fruity wine with considerable complexity.

Unsere Pinots Noirs stammen ausschließlich aus ton- und kalkhaltigen Böden in gut exponierter Lage, und die Parzellen werden begrünt, um eine gute Konzentration und eine günstige Umgebung für Hilfsstoffe zu fördern. Unter optimalen Bedingungen mit der Kernreifekontrolle und einer täglichen Kostprobe der Beeren geerntet. Die Reifung im wärmeregulierten Betrieb ohne große Ausdehnung ermöglicht uns, geschmeidige, fruchtige Weine von großer Komplexität zu erhalten.
